New Event: Enhancing learning and teaching: SLTAs and beyond
London
If you already run SLTAs and want to develop your use of the data for enhancing learning and teaching, this is the workshop for you.
This highly practical workshop is aimed at students’ unions and higher education providers with established student-led teaching award (SLTA) schemes, and focuses on ways of using the nomination data to enhance learning and teaching within the institution. As well as hearing from how other students’ unions and institutions use their SLTAs for enhancement, you will undertake a practical exercise in qualitative data analysis and find out more about using NUS’s Comprehensive Guide to Learning and Teaching.
The event will be practical and discursive, and would best be attended by the person who would be undertaking data analysis rather than staff with strategic responsibility. Staff from universities, colleges, alternative providers and students’ unions with established SLTA schemes are welcome.

Please note that places are limited to 20 per event, so we ask that a maximum of two people per union attend and these should be the people who will actually be managing the project.
