If you do not currently have a student-led teaching award scheme and would like to find out how to set one up, our event on 21^st June does just that.

This interactive workshop day is aimed at higher education providers wishing to set up a student-led teaching award scheme. Student-led teaching awards (SLTAs) offer a number of benefits to HE institutions and students’ unions: they champion good teaching practice; strengthen partnership working between HEIs and their students; and provide meaningful data on students’ perceptions of quality teaching.

The event will be practical and discursive, and would best be attended by the person who would be managing an SLTA project rather than staff or officers with strategic responsibility. Staff from universities, colleges, alternative providers and students’ unions with little previous experience of SLTAs are welcome.
